OUR MISSION

A Better World Through Service

The mission of ALLNETTE is to provide or facilitate the tools and resources required to assist individuals who have lost a parent or are in foster care—accomplished through strategic alliances, counseling and support group assistance, education assistance, financial assistance, and more. Our end goal is to support them through this critical phase in their life. All our programs are gifted unconditionally. We do not charge the individuals we assist.

Each year 5% of the population experiences the death of a parent. The role of a parent is the most critical relationship in any person's life. Losing a parent is one of a human's most painful emotional experiences. Research shows that about 40% of people who lose their parents will suffer from some form of anxiety disorder in the first year after the death of a loved one. It is the goal of ALLNETTE to provide love and support to individuals who have suffered a loss.

Every day 1200 kids enter foster care in the United States. The foster care system can be confusing and, at times, disheartening. Still, through our fundraising and network of passionate volunteers, we strive to give foster children a brighter future and a sense of normalcy and belonging.

Children Using Tablets

ALLNETTE began with a loss.....

In 2010, Raynetta Bates got the call that everyone dreads-they didn’t know if her mother Annette would make it. The aftermath of Annette’s sudden and tragic passing, coupled with the fact that Raynetta’s father Alonzo had passed away years earlier, also left an excruciating loneliness in her heart that no one could see.

Inspired by her pain and loneliness, Raynetta began working on creating a non-profit committed to helping individuals who have lost one or both parents, as well as individuals who are in foster care. Both individuals are often forgotten.

Raynetta’s experience generated love, compassion, and hope resulting in the creation of Allnette, an organization committed to supporting and helping families living without parents, as well as those in foster care.

Business People

Allnette is embarking on our annual Full of Love Campaign. When children enter the foster care system, they frequently arrive at their new foster home with nothing. If they were allowed to bring along some items, they were often shoved hastily into a trash bag. We offer backpacks full of love and new things those children can keep throughout their journey. Kids have a hard time in these situations and deserve to know they matter. Please consider donating today. Your donation of $15, $25, or $40 will provide a child or teen transitioning into foster care with a backpack! Your small contribution can significantly impact a child's life by providing a backpack Full of Love to a foster child.

HOW CAN ALLNETTE HELP YOU

Those of us living with the loss of a parent are often left to deal with our pain alone. Having experienced profound loss, ALLNETTE understands the pain, frustration, and isolation those in mourning often experience. We want to help you on your journey because we've walked in your shoes.

ALLNETTE connects individuals who have experienced similar losses by offering ongoing emotional support, therapeutic programs, events, and mentorship, as well as appropriate resources and referrals. Providing help and support enables grieving individuals to find strength from within to face the complex journey ahead.

Individuals who lost a parent and children in foster care can take advantage of some or all of our programs, which are, with rare exceptions, free of charge and have no prescribed time limit on their duration.

If there is anything else ALLNETTE can do to support you, please do not hesitate to contact us at info@allnette.org.
